A message from our Chief Executive Perfectionist
A lot of steel parts manufacturers think all plating companies are pretty much the same. But I can assure you that Plateco customers don’t think that way; they know better. Much better.
Because when a customer asks us to plate their parts, our attitude is that those parts are very close to perfect. Our job is to get them all the way there, and we’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen.
Because the way we see it, we aren’t just plating parts; we’re plating perfection.
And that’s why we leave no stone unturned in pursuing perfection. We invest heavily in – and in many cases invent – state-of-the-art technology. We devote an unmatched level of engineering planning to make sure we’re using the best possible processes for each and every part we plate. We utilize an unparalleled system of automatic and human monitors to make sure that those processes are proceeding precisely according to plan. We go to unprecedented lengths to provide our customers with the best care and best overall value possible. And, perhaps most important, we do all of these things with an exceptionally talented, hard-working, passionate team of artisans who are truly committed to plating perfection.
As we like to say, you don’t have to be a Schweich to work for Plateco; you just have to be a perfectionist.
So, on behalf of my fellow perfectionists, I’d like to thank you for visiting our website. If you’re not already a customer of ours, I truly hope we have the opportunity of serving you one day. And if we do, I’m confident we’ll give you a level of plating quality, service and value you never imagined to be possible.
Chief Executive Perfectionist
Our Core Values
We will continually deliver an unmatched level of plating perfection by meeting our customers’ needs regarding:
Product quality specifications
Product delivery timetables
These values are best captured by the following promise we make to all customers:
On spec. On time. Or it’s on us.
Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.
We hate to go all Aristotle on you, but the revered Greek philosopher might as well have been thinking of Plateco when he came up with those wise words above. Then again, we weren’t founded until 1974, so maybe he was thinking of another company.
The point is that we LOVE what we do, and it really shows in our work. If you tour our factory – and we hope you do – you’ll see a team of highly energized, highly engaged people who are always working hard and often smiling when they do it. We genuinely like each other as people and as teammates, and we LOVE winning together. And by winning together we mean thrilling our customers.
Working with perfectionists can be frustrating at times. . .
unless you’re a perfectionist yourself!
