Don’t Let Slag Be a Drag
When cutting your parts with a plasma torch, oxy-acetylene torch or laser before sending them out to be plated, please make sure there are no parts in close proximity to the parts being cut. If there are, slag from the parts being cut will land on and stick to the parts and be very difficult to remove. This can at best delay the plating process and at worst impair the quality of the plating.
We know how important plating quality and turnaround time are to you, which is why we’re always eager to share any tips that can help us avoid unnecessary problems that can get in the way of your goals.
